My Story

I was born and raised in Maplewood, NJ, located not far outside of NYC. From an early age, I took dance lessons and performed in local and school plays. It was not until middle school that I fell in love with the technical side of theatre. I later went to Columbia High School, where I worked on the school musicals and dance shows. Here, I was taught by local lighting designers, scenic designers, Broadway technicians, and professional carpentry engineers. It was here that I honed my skills and decided to continue my career as a technician by attending Emerson College. I am currently a senior studying Theatre Design/Technology, concentrating in electrics and lighting design. Throughout my time in college, I have worked on numerous types of productions ranging from musicals, plays, award shows, and events both in a collegiate and professional environment. My passion for and desire to learn more about lighting is what drives me. I always look forward to new experiences and ones that help me hone my skills.
